Below is a simple mortgage calculator and should only be used as a rough guide to estimating how much
one can afford to spend on a home or property.
At the bottom of the page there will be links to various Canadian banks and their current mortgage rates.
Be aware that a good credit rating will allow you to get better than advertised rate.
(i.e. if you have an excellent credit rating the Bank may present you with a mortgage that is
0.5% LESS than their PUBLISHED rate on their web site)
